Dalhousie University Fitness Centre

FBM, working in association with MJMA (Toronto), engaged the university’s students, stakeholders, and the surrounding community to develop a strategy to revitalize the existing Dalplex facility—the sports and fitness centre based at Dalhousie University in South-End Halifax. The goal was to reimagine the facility as the campus' health and wellness centre and to create an inclusive and versatile state-of-the-art facility, open and accessible to all. The building encompasses approximately 5,800-square-metres over two levels, including a small, renovated area at the connection to Dalplex.
