Nikki Steele has joined FBM having worked in Ottawa, Ontario for the past 11 years accumulating a broad range of experience as an Interior Designer. She has successfully managed both small and large interior design projects for many corporate, public sector, educational, healthcare and hospitality clients. A graduate of both Mount Allison University and Algonquin College (Ottawa Ontario), Nikki is well versed in office fit-up standards for the federal government, alternative office planning solutions, functional programming, furniture procurement, and environmentally sustainable design.
Nikki has extensive experience acting as the lead consultant overseeing project teams that include, acoustic, security, audio visual specialists in addition to mechanical and electrical consultants. These projects were both new construction as well as retrofits including heritage buildings.
Nikki is a Registered Interior Designer with IDNS and a LEED Accredited Professional. In addition, she is a Prosci Certified Change Management specialist enabling her to provide clients with the tools and techniques to support organisations and their employees’ success through the transformation of their workplace ensuring return on investment.
