D’Arcy Dennehy

D’Arcy Dennehy joined FBM in 2012 to establish an Interior Design division and offer a seamless service package to our clients. Under D’Arcy’s leadership the practice has flourished and developed a portfolio of large corporate fit ups for clients such as Public Works and Government Services Canada, Emera, Dalhousie University, Halifax Regional Municipality and the Armour Group. The interior design team enjoys many collaborations with FBM’s architects such as the Halifax Central Library and CBC Halifax headquarters.

D’Arcy’s career spans over 35 years and includes all fields of commercial design projects. She has extensive knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, sustainable building practices, furniture acquisition and integration, workplace programming, and current issues and trends in workplace design.

D’Arcy’s team optimize spaces to support client business functions while being mindful of the pleasure, comfort and needs of the user group. 

As a Project Management Professional she brings that expertise to all her projects. As a LEED Accredited Professional in Contract Interiors she seeks opportunities to engage sustainable strategies wherever practical and enhance the productivity, health and culture of the spaces she designs.
