Dalhousie University Officially opens Fitness Centre

On Friday, May 25th, Dalhousie University officially opened the doors to its new Fitness Centre at an event attended by about 200 people.

FBM designed the new facility in association with MJMA Architects in Toronto.

Some of the highlights of the Centre include: 

  • 13,562 square feet of work out space
  • 74 new pieces of cardio equipment
  • 150-200 new pieces of strength training equipment
  • Three new locker rooms (men's, women's, and universal) with 263 lockers each
  • 4 new fitness studios 
  • A high performance training area
