The Lodge at Yale

Located within woodlands at the border between New Haven and Woodbridge, the Lodge at Yale is at the end of a meandering driveway looking out over the historic Charles Blair Macdonald golf course at Yale University. The building continues this serpentine path—the wood structure housing the hotel’s public spaces, meandering from a large rock outcropping, bridging over a ravine, and curving along the contours of the historic “Burnside”6th hole. The single loaded corridor evokes a walk in the woods while all the public spaces and bedrooms look over the golf landscape.
